Bury St Edmunds - Man in life-threatening condition after stabbing |

An investigation is underway after a man sustained serious injuries during an attack in Bury St Edmunds.
Police were called at just before 10.15pm last night, Sunday 22 March, to reports of a serious incident in Mortimer Road.
An injured man was located in the street having sustained stab wounds. The victim was taken to hospital with his injuries described as life-threating.
Five male suspects, wearing dark clothing and face coverings were reported fleeing the location.
A police scene remains in place in Mortimer Road and officers will be undertaking additional patrols in the area to provide reassurance to the local community.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact police.
